The anime is great. However, the subtitles can sound akward at times, although they are not bad. I still recomend buying.

Okay, not as good as Code Geass. Only a few animes could EVER beat it. But Darker Than Black is a great anime with awesome plot twists and an excellent story line. DTB puts forth the question: "Does the fiber of your being make you who you are?" Hei is a Contractor, a being that is meant to lie, kill and do whatever it takes to get whet he wants. But Hei has other things in mind. Does he kill simply because he's made to, or does he hold off unless its necessary? What does Hei desire and does he need to kill to get it? What does it mean to be a born-killer and try to deny what you are for the sake of what you hold dear? This anime asks these questions and more. 5/5 for being a truly awesome representation of what it means to live your life as you WANT, not how people think you're MEANT to live it!
I can't wait for Season 2!

Ten years ago, an inscrutable and abnormal territory known as Hell's Gate appeared in Tokyo, altering the sky and wreaking havoc on the landscape. The real stars disappeared, replaced by false stars. During this time, people possessing various special abilities emerged, each capable of different supernatural feats - these are known as Contractors. Each fake star has a corresponding Contractor, which reacts to their activities. As such, Contractors are usually identified by their star's Messier catalogue number. Kept secret from the masses, these individuals are known to murder in cold blood, smothering unnecessary emotions with logic and rationale. Their incredible abilities, however, are gained at the cost of their humanity - Contractors are thus named because of an involuntary compulsion to "pay the price" each time their power is used, which can range from eating particular foods and completing meaningless tasks, to self-harm and having their bodies change in peculiar ways. Various nations and organizations around the world train and utilize Contractors as spies and assassins, resulting in violent battles for valuable objects and information. - got it from my wikipedia research!! For the ones who believes that this is one of best anime series ever, I would like to say "BUY THIS"!
Amazing! Perfect! Great!
But I think that's a little expensive - even being worth it!
I recomend and unfortunately, I couldn't find in BluRay.
